Dalton Family Practice is deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Robert “Bob” Simmons, one of the founding physicians of Dalton Family Practice.

Dr. Simmons helped establish this practice with a simple but powerful vision—caring for patients and families with compassion, dedication, and integrity. Though he retired several years ago, his impact continues to be felt every day within our walls.

To so many in our community, he was more than a physician. He was a trusted voice, a steady presence, and someone who genuinely cared about the people he served. To those of us at Dalton Family Practice, he will always be part of our story and our family.

We are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind, and we remain committed to carrying forward the values and care he helped build here.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Simmons’ family, his former patients, and all who knew and loved him. His life and work will not be forgotten.
