🏃‍♂️ Long-distance running takes a toll on the body — especially the hips.

This avid distance runner came in with stiff, restricted hips that were affecting how he felt during and after his runs.

We used acupuncture to help address muscle tension, improve mobility, and support the body’s recovery process. After treatment, he noticed his hips feeling looser and more mobile.

We also added cupping as an adjunct therapy to his treatment — a great option to incorporate into a post-run recovery routine when muscles are feeling tight, fatigued, or overworked.

For runners, recovery isn’t just about taking a day off. It’s about giving your body the tools it needs to keep moving well. 🏃‍♂️💨

Run hard. Recover smart. Keep moving.

Sunday Intention
Sunday feels like the true beginning of my week. 🌿

As an acupuncturist, I’ve come to really value this quiet pause between one week and the next. Before the week gets busy, I take time to sit with my journal, reflect on what the past week brought me, and notice what I want to carry forward—and what I’m ready to release.

Writing in my journal helps me set an intention for the week ahead. ✨ Not a long list of things I have to accomplish, but a reminder of how I want to feel, show up, and care for myself and others.

For me, intention creates space for balance—something I’m always encouraging my patients to cultivate, too.

So I’m curious… 💭
How do you prepare for a new week?
Do you journal, plan, rest, move your body, spend time in nature—or simply take a moment to breathe?

Here’s to starting the week with intention. 🤍

Happy Solar Eclipse! 🌑✨ Today is a cosmic celebration—a beautiful invitation to pause, reflect, and welcome new beginnings. May this eclipse bring you joy, playfulness, creativity, and a sense of aliveness as you embody your spirit and step into what’s next. 🌞💫

Sunday recap ✨

A Sunday to slow down, breathe deeper, and come back to myself.

I’ve been reflecting on what I want to carry into the new week—and what I’m ready to release. Citrine has been a beautiful little reminder of warmth, confidence, optimism, and choosing to focus on what I can nurture and grow. 🍋✨

Make space for acupuncture as part of your reset. Acupuncture helps support relaxation and encourage the body’s natural stress-regulation processes. It’s another way to pause, reconnect, and give your body and mind a little more room to exhale.

No rushing. No forcing. Just listening, reflecting, and resetting.

Here’s to entering the new week grounded, open, and carrying a little more light💛
