Filosa for Nursing & Rehabilitation is a privately owned and operated skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in the heart of Danbury, Connecticut. Since 1947 our facilities have been continuously managed on site by our original owners who for three generations have remained dedicated to providing a uniquely caring and supportive environment for our patients and their families.

🍦 SWEET SUMMER MOMENTS AT HAVENCARE FILOSA! 🌈✨

July was National Ice Cream Month, and we celebrated the sweetest way we know how — with an Ice Cream Social for our residents and staff! 🍨🎉

Our Havencare Filosa community came together for an afternoon filled with delicious ice cream, colorful toppings, laughter, smiles, and plenty of sweet memories. From creating the perfect sundae to simply enjoying time together, it was a wonderful way to celebrate Ice Cream Month and the community we’re so proud to be a part of. 💙

At HavenCare Filosa, we believe that meaningful care goes beyond the clinical setting. It’s also about creating joyful experiences, building connections, and making every day special for our residents. ❤️

At Havencare at Filosa, we take patient safety seriously—but we believe great training can still be fun. Our staff jumped into CPR training with enthusiasm, teamwork, and a lot of heart (pun intended).

A Heartwarming Visit at Havencare at Filosa 🎄

Today we were lucky to host the students from the AIS Magnet School in Danbury. They came dressed in full Christmas spirit and filled our building with music and warmth. Watching our residents light up as the kids sang was truly special — you could feel the joy in the room.

It’s moments like these that remind us how meaningful simple connections can be. We’re grateful to the AIS students and staff for taking the time to bring holiday cheer to our home. It was a beautiful way to start the season.
