June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, a time to honor, support, and celebrate those living with memory loss and the people who care for them.

At Spring Village Danbury, we marked the occasion with a beautiful butterfly release in our Victory Garden as part of our ongoing America’s 250th celebration. Surrounded by residents, family members, and valued community partners, the event served as a meaningful reminder of hope, resilience, and the power of connection.

Our Garden View Memory Care neighborhood is dedicated to creating moments of joy, purpose, and belonging every day. Watching the butterflies take flight together was a touching symbol of the memories we cherish and the community that supports us along the journey.

Our Memorial Day BBQ was a huge hit! Despite the rain, we celebrated with amazing food and a special visit to our veterans from our friend Jean from the Danbury VFW women’s auxiliary. Check out the amazing blankets the women’s auxiliary made for our veterans!

This Memorial Day, we remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women who served our country. Their legacy continues to inspire generations as we celebrate 250 years of American history and freedom.
