Connecticut Childbirth & Women's Center Connecticut's only freestanding birth center!! Our midwifery group provides birth care to women and their families in our beautiful, homelike center.

Situated right across from the Danbury Hospital in Danbury Connecticut, the Connecticut Childbirth and Women's Center provides women with the best of both worlds - expert care provided by certified nurse-midwives, while emergency care is just a stone's throw away. Our home-like birthing center includes 3 birthing rooms equipped with private baths, all three inclu

ding a whirlpool bath tub for labor and birth. Families also have access to our full kitchen and living room/family area. Downstairs, women receive gentle, comprehensive and preventative care in our private midwifery office. Full scope care may also include family planning and preconceptual counseling. Many women who birth with us stay with us for their lifelong gynecological needs! We provide special prenatal services through the Strong Start project, free for those who qualify. So happy to announce the long awaited arrival of Jennifer and Dillon’s new daughter!! Phoebe Grace Aiken came swimming into the world at 3:12pm on September 26th, 2024. Weighing in at 8lb 12.5oz!!! So thrilled for everyone!!
