Noyes PT would like to wish all of our current and former patients who are mothers a Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

Today is also the perfect opportunity to share a new service being offered at our clinic: Obstetric & Postpartum Care!

New mothers and mothers-to-be can now be evaluated by our team member, Jaiden Weitzel, who has advanced training in obstetric physical therapy. Conditions treated include, but are not limited to: low back and pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy, sciatica and other nerve impingements during pregnancy, early intervention following traumatic or dystocia birth, postpartum pain, incontinence, and return-to-running guidance after pregnancy.

While aches and pains during pregnancy may feel inevitable, let us help minimize issues during your pregnancy and postpartum period.

*Referral from an OB/GYN or primary care provider required for evaluation.

Meet our next staff member: Abby Meyer, PTA

"I graduated from Geneseo CSD in 2019. After graduation, I spent a few years exploring different career paths before deciding to pursue my passion for exercise and movement through physical therapy. I attended GCC’s Physical Therapist Assistant program and graduated in August 2024. Shortly after, I began working as a PTA in October 2024.

"I joined the Noyes Physical Therapy team in March 2026 and feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such talented and compassionate coworkers. As a newer clinician, I’m excited to continue growing my skills and learning from such a supportive team. I’m grateful to be part of an environment where collaboration, learning, and professional growth are truly valued.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going for walks with my dog, going for hikes, working out, taking care of my plants, and reading."

Meet our next staff member: Heather Walther, PTA

"I grew up in the Dansville area. I have been a physical therapist assistant for 8 years. I have worked in a variety of outpatient-based clinics treating people from 3 months to 99 years of age. I enjoy the versatility of my job and the people I meet daily. I am a certified lymphedema therapist, wound therapist, and pre/post-natal fitness training. I enjoy the atmosphere here at Noyes and the team of people I get to work with!"

Meet our next staff member: Dr. Robert Murphy PT, DPT

"A 2022 graduate from Daemen University, I am happy to work within the community I grew up in, allowing me to give back and connect with the vast majority of patients. I work predominantly in the outpatient setting with my other time spent within the hospital for inpatient care. I enjoy working with a variety of patients including orthopedic and geriatric patients to enhance their level of mobility, strength, and functional capacity. Outside of work, I remain active on our family farm. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, and spending time with my family.
Areas of interest/clinical expertise: geriatrics and orthopedics"

Meet our next front desk staff member: Karen Bovee

"I live in Dansville with my husband, Bob and our fur babies. I retired in 2021, after working for an attorney for 30 years, and finishing my career in the New York State Unified Court System in Bath, New York, for 12 years. Our children are grown and have moved away from the Dansville area but we love any time we get to spend with them, and our grandchildren.

I decided I wasn’t old enough for full time retirement and I was lucky enough to be hired at Noyes Physical Therapy as a part time per diem secretary after receiving services here myself for a broken elbow. I was so impressed by their level of one on one physical therapy.

I have the privilege of working with some of the most educated and dedicated therapists. They have immense kindness and compassion for each individual and they go above and beyond every day to help their patients and make sure they are getting the most out of their therapy sessions. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this wonderful group.

In our free time, we love to travel. This year we are taking a cruise on the Rhine River to Switzerland, France and Germany, and a bus trip in the fall to New Orleans."

Meet our next staff member: Dr. Jaiden Weitzel PT, DPT

“I graduated high school from Canisteo-Greenwood in 2019 and went on to get my Bachelors in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland before pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of the Noyes PT team- as this environment is perfect for learning and continuously growing as a young clinician. I'm grateful to practice in a place where the standard is to go the extra mile for each and every patient. I have advanced training in Obstetric Physical Therapy, with a passion for women's health specifically in the ante/postpartum periods. I also enjoy working with a neurological population and athletes but truly enjoy the spontaneity and variety that working in a rural hospital system brings.

Outside of work you would likely find me spending time with my family, lifting weights, reading, cooking, coaching track & field, playing with my dogs, and doing anything competitive with my husband. Last but not least, Go Bills!”

Meet our next front desk staff member: Lily Palmer!

“I went to Wayland-Cohocton high school and went on to earn my Bachelor's in Psychology and Human Development from SUNY Geneseo.

I first started with Noyes just over 4 years ago, originally working in the Registration Department, registering for urgent care, radiology, and laboratory, and occationally also helping out at the Switchboard and in the Emergency Department.

I had been working with the Physical Therapy team as full-time secretary in Dansville for almost 2 years when I decided to cut back my hours to be at home more with my, now 2 year old, son. Outside of work I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, and reading.

Being a secretary at Noyes PT has allowed me, not only the flexibility to be at home with my son more while also doing fulfilling work outside of the home, serving the community we live in, but I also have been able to watch our team grow over the last few years. And I can honestly say we have a great team of therapists and front staff, who each genuinely want to provide quality physical therapy care.”
