🎓 Investing in the Future of Our Community 🎓

Townes Funeral Home is proud to support the Graduate of Merit Scholarship Program and celebrate the accomplishments of some truly outstanding students.

The 27th Annual Graduate of Merit Ceremony was held at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, where students were recognized for their academic achievements and bright futures ahead.

This year, Townes Funeral Home was honored to sponsor three exceptional graduates:

⭐ Morgan Denae Phillips, who will attend Virginia Tech this fall to study Psychology.

⭐ Adrey Anna Stevens, who will attend the University of Lynchburg and major in Elementary Education.

⭐ Ava Grace Presley, who will attend Virginia Tech and pursue a degree in Medicinal Chemistry.

Representing Townes Funeral Home at the ceremony were Michael and Crystal Nemec, who were especially proud to celebrate these students not only as representatives of Townes Funeral Home, but also as educators who have had the privilege of being part of their academic journey.
