It is with a heavy heart that we at Danville Kroger announce the passing of our Store Manager, Greg Dean.

Greg was with the Kroger Company for 33 years and will leave a lasting legacy of hard work and dedication. He touched the lives of many customers, associates, and community members throughout those years.

Greg had a deep commitment to the community he served. Whether it was to the local schools, Boyle County and Danville High School or local businesses and local food banks, he would always do what he could to be of some assistance.

Truly going to miss hearing his "Kroger shoppers, Kroger shoppers, have we got a deal for you" announcements and the man himself. It definitely will not be the same around here without him.

Greg's wake will be held on Wednesday evening, from 5 pm to 8pm at Preston Pruitt Spurlin at 331 South 4th st, Danville, KY.

Services will be held at the same location on Thursday June 4th at 11am.
