She came to me with psoriasis, gut issues, low iron, a sluggish thyroid, heavy painful periods, and zero energy.

On paper, that’s six separate problems.
In her body, it was one story.

She wasn’t asking for much. She wanted her skin back. She wanted to wake up with energy. She wanted her hair to stop thinning.

So we stopped guessing and started testing.

Her GI-MAP showed inflammatory bacteria overgrowing, a worn-down gut immune system, and low digestive enzymes. She wasn’t breaking down or absorbing her food the way she should.

Her DUTCH showed estrogen running the show, and a cortisol rhythm with no morning rise. No wonder she woke up exhausted.

Her MRT showed which foods were keeping her immune system on high alert.

This is what I mean when I say your symptoms are connected. Her skin wasn’t just a skin problem. Her periods weren’t just a hormone problem.

And here’s the thing: you can’t heal hormones without healing the gut first. That’s why I work in order, with a process:

Flush → calm inflammation, support adrenals + thyroid, restore absorption
Feed → heal the gut + metabolism
Function → balance hormones
Fortify → protect the progress with ongoing immune support

No steroid creams. Just addressing the root.

Her results, in her own words, are coming soon 👀

If you’ve been told you’re “fine” but you know something’s off, I believe you. DM me “ROOT” and let’s find out what your body’s been trying to tell you.

Hot take: going gluten and dairy free won’t fix your bloating.

I know that might ruffle some feathers, so let me explain.

I hear the same thing from so many women: “I’ve cut out gluten. Then dairy. Then soy, eggs, nightshades… and I’m STILL bloated.”

I get it, because that was me. At one point my diet was so limited I had a handful of “safe” foods. Every time I reacted to something, I cut it out.

My plate got smaller and smaller, and I still didn’t feel better.

What I was missing was the whole point.

When your gut can’t tolerate foods, the food usually isn’t the root problem. It’s a signal. Something deeper is going on, like:

→ SIBO (bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine)
→ Low stomach acid, which makes food harder to break down
→ Leaky gut (intestinal permeability)
→ Dysbiosis, an imbalance in your gut bacteria

Removing trigger foods can absolutely help you feel better in the short term. But if you never address why you’re reacting, the list of foods you can’t handle often keeps growing.

Healing isn’t about how much you can cut out. It’s about getting your gut to a place where it can handle more.

That’s why I start with testing, not guessing. When we know what’s actually going on, we can work on the root cause instead of just managing symptoms.

Important note: if you have celiac disease or a true food allergy, strict avoidance is essential and non-negotiable. This post is for anyone stuck in the endless elimination cycle without answers.

The real question isn’t “what else should I cut out?” It’s “why is my gut reacting in the first place?”

If this sounds like you, save this for later and comment “GUT” if you want to know where to start.

“Why am I so tired all the time?” 😴

You’re getting your 8 hours. You’re not partying. And you still wake up exhausted, hit a wall by mid-afternoon, and drag yourself through the day. If that’s you, this one’s for you.

Here’s the thing: when rest doesn’t fix it, the problem isn’t your sleep. It’s something underneath.

Chronic fatigue is one of the most dismissed symptoms in women’s health. Sleep more, stress less, drink water and when that doesn’t work, you start to wonder if it’s just you.

It’s not. Fatigue is a signal. And when I actually look gut, cortisol, thyroid, nutrients, blood sugar there’s almost always a root cause hiding behind an “everything looks normal” panel. 🤍

Swipe through, then tell me: which one surprised you most?

Crazy to think that 6 years ago, I was struggling with all of this.

30 pounds of rapid weight gain and constant bloating — no matter how clean I ate or how hard I trained. No cycle. Rashes all over my body that no steroid, cream, or allergy med could touch. Acne so bad skincare couldn’t even help.

Doctor after doctor. Prescription after prescription. Always another med to try (not saying meds are bad and not needed- there is 100% a time and place) but I felt stuck in the same place even trying xzy..

It took me years to stop believing I was broken, and start asking what my body was actually trying to tell me. All of my symptoms were connected and I was addressing them in isolation.

Today looks so different. Regular cycle. Clear skin. No more rashes. No more bloating. Food freedom instead of another round of crazy dieting. I got my life back in a way I never thought was possible.

If you’re wondering what actually moved the needle it wasn’t more restriction or more cardio. It was the opposite. Real testing to see what my body was doing. Strength training instead of grinding myself into the ground. A reverse diet to stop under-fueling. Nervous system work. Targeted support. And most of all a plan built for me, not a generic protocol.

That’s exactly why I do what I do now. Because I know what it feels like to be dismissed, exhausted, and out of options and I know it doesn’t have to stay that way.

If you’re in the thick of it right now: you’re not crazy, and you’re not alone. 🤍

Save this for the days you need the reminder healing is possible!

Hormone imbalance can happen at any age and it rarely comes from just one hormone.

Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, cortisol they all work together, which is why the symptoms overlap so much (hi, perimenopause 👋)

And here’s the part most people skip: replacing the hormone isn’t always the answer. The real question is what led to it being high or low in the first place? That’s where the root cause lives.

You can’t symptom-spot your way there. Swipe for high vs. low, the root causes, and the testing that connects the dots.

You were told PMOS meant birth control, Metformin, and “come back if you want to get pregnant.”

Or maybe it was “just work out more and eat clean” as if you hadn’t already tried.

What that appointment didn’t hold space for is how brutal this actually feels. The weight that won’t budge no matter what you do. The hair in the shower drain. Not knowing if you’re going to get a cycle every two weeks or in 6 months. Breakouts you thought you left behind in your teens. The random hair growth showing up where you never wanted it.

PMOS (the condition formerly called PCOS) is a metabolic condition. Not just an o***y problem — a whole-body hormonal and metabolic one.

And that’s the good news.

Because metabolic conditions respond to how you eat, move, sleep, and handle stress and to targeted, root-cause support. I’ve walked many women through this from a scary diagnosis to a real, regular cycle again. Not a withdrawal bleed on the pill. A true ovulatory cycle, because their body was finally working the way it’s meant to through a fully body approach vs just take this..

(And to be clear: Metformin can be a genuinely great tool for some women it’s exactly the right support. This was never about ditching medication. It’s about knowing it isn’t your only option.)

IT STARTS WITH KNOWING YOUR DRIVER: insulin-resistant, inflammatory, post-pill, or adrenal. That’s why testing the right labs is so important and it’s what turns an overwhelming diagnosis into a plan.

Which symptom has been the hardest for you?

Somewhere along the way, women were taught to expect almost nothing from their bodies.

Bloated after every meal? Normal.
PMS that takes you out for a week? Normal.
Exhausted no matter how you sleep?
Periods so painful you can’t function?
Waking up puffy? An emotional rollercoaster every single day?
We’ve been told all of it is just part of being a woman.

It isn’t. Common and normal are not the same thing.
Bloating after meals? Often low stomach acid or an overgrowth.
PMS that levels you? Your body isn’t clearing estrogen.
Exhausted despite sleep, puffy in the morning? That can be your thyroid.
The mood swings? Blood sugar and hormones, not a character flaw. None of these are personality traits. They’re data.

I spent years believing I just had to live like that, and I didn’t or just try the pill it will fix everything…

Once I stopped accepting “normal” and started actually looking, everything changed.

You’re not dramatic. You’re not high maintenance. Your body is talking to you, and it’s worth listening to.

Which of these were you told was “just part of being a woman”? Tell me below.
