It is completely normal for newborns to mix up their days and nights during the first few weeks.

To help establish routines:

• Keep daytime feeds bright and active
• Keep nighttime feeds calm and quiet
• Limit stimulation during overnight diaper changes
• Start a simple bedtime routine, such as a warm bath, dim lights, and quiet snuggles
• Gentle scents like lavender may help create a calming bedtime environment

Small routines can help babies slowly adjust their sleep schedule and learn the difference between day and night.

I have alot of families that have chosen home birth or are considering it, posting this in case anyone is interested in attending ❤️

Join us for a relaxing afternoon THIS SATURDAYconnecting with other families who have chosen or are exploring homebirth! This is a wonderful opportunity to share birth stories, build community, ask questions, and meet like-minded parents and parents-to-be. Feel free to invite a friend who is curious about homebirthing — the more the merrier!
What to bring:
• A folding chair (seating is limited)
• A yard game to share (co****le, bocce, lawn games, etc.)
• A dish to pass (appetizers, salads, desserts — whatever you love!)
We’ll have refreshing apple cider slushies on hand! To make sure we have enough for everyone, please RSVP with the number of adults and children attending. Come as you are — kids are welcome!
