🪺💛 Nurture Nest team members took time this morning to get together for a staff meeting. It was great time of food, fellowship, team building, and learning! We had several folks who were not able to make it, but this team is full of compassionate, knowledgeable folks who give 110% every day to this practice. I am completely humbled and overwhelmed but this amazing group of folks who I get to work alongside each and every day.

Thank you for trusting us with your mental health care needs. I give my promise to our communities that there is no better team of therapists, case managers, and support staff in Central Kentucky. Today, Nurture Nest Play Therapy & Counseling Center honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. 🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful for the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy each day. As we spend time with loved ones this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the heroes who are no longer with us.

Our offices are closed today in observance of Memorial Day, but we will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26, at 8:00 AM.

Wishing our Nurture Nest families a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Memorial Day.

In light of our community’s recent tragedy, the team at Nurture Nest Play Therapy & Counseling Center wants everyone to know that you do not have to walk through this alone.

Grief, fear, confusion, anger, sadness, anxiety, numbness — all reactions to trauma and loss are valid. Whether you are directly impacted, supporting someone who is hurting, or simply struggling emotionally right now, we are here to support you.

Nurture Nest currently has immediate therapy openings in our Harrodsburg office, located just 10 minutes from Boyle County High School, and these services will be provided 100% FREE to anyone in need of support for as long as you need it during this difficult time.

Our offices reopen Tuesday, May 26 at 8:00 AM. You may also text our office THIS WEEKEND at 859-475-0234 and we will help get you scheduled as early as Tuesday with Cindy, our Art Therapist, who is available to provide a safe and supportive space for healing.

We are excited to share that our Art Therapy student, Cindy Keele, is now offering Pro Bono therapy appointments at Nurture Nest in our Harrodsburg office!

Cindy works with:

Through art therapy interventions, Cindy provides a creative and supportive space for clients to express themselves, process emotions, and work toward healing and growth. Clients will be seen weekly for mental health therapy.
