🌈☮️ SHINING THROUGH THE YEARS! ☮️🌈

We’re keeping the Assisted Living Week fun rolling with another groovy trip back in time! ✨🕰️

Wednesday, September 16th was all about the 1960s! ✌️🌼 As part of our “Shining Through the Years” celebration, we brought out the colors, creativity, and plenty of TIE-DYE FUN! 🎨🌈

Our residents picked their favorite colors, twisted, folded, and tied—and created some totally far-out masterpieces! 💜💛💚💙🩷

There were smiles, laughter, lots of bright colors, and maybe a little bit of that ’60s hippie spirit along the way! 🌼☮️🕺💃

The years may keep passing, but the joy, laughter, creativity, and memories continue to shine brightly! ✨❤️

We’re celebrating the amazing people who have made every decade special and reminding ourselves that there’s always another beautiful memory to make! 🌈

🍦✨ We’re continuing our celebration of Assisted Living Week with the theme “Shining Through the Years”! ✨🍦

Tuesday, September 15th we stepped back into the 1950s with a fun-filled ice cream social—complete with sweet treats, smiles, and wonderful memories! 💕 Our residents enjoyed celebrating the years gone by and making new memories together.

✨🕵️‍♀️ Shining Through the Years! ✨

We stepped back into the Roaring ’20s for Assisted Living Week with a little glitz, glamour, and a murder mystery! 🥂🎩💃

On Monday, September 14th the mystery hit close to home—it was based right around our building and even featured some of our very own residents! And the big question was… WHO MURDERED BRI?! 😱🔎

The clues led us straight to one of our Bingo-loving residents… but thankfully, the only thing Bri was guilty of was being BINGO EXHAUSTED! 😂🎲

What a fun-filled evening of laughter, teamwork, clues, and memories! Our residents continue to shine through the years—and they certainly know how to keep life exciting! ✨❤️

We’re celebrating Assisted Living Week with a week full of memories, laughter, and special moments! 💛

We started on Sunday, September 13th, with Grandparents Day — enjoying a delicious Grandparents Day lunch, creating a special craft, and ending the day with the classic movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. 🎬💐

🎶✨ What an AMAZING time we had! ✨🎶

A huge THANK YOU to Chrissy Sparks for coming out to entertain our residents with her beautiful singing and incredible piano skills! 🎹🎤❤️

Chrissy was absolutely amazing! Our residents had so much fun throwing song requests her way—and she could play just about anything they asked for! 😍🎶 From familiar favorites to songs that brought back wonderful memories, she had everyone smiling, singing along, and enjoying themselves.

There’s nothing quite like the joy that music brings, and Chrissy truly filled the room with happiness, laughter, and great memories. 💕🎵

Thank you, Chrissy, for sharing your amazing talent and making such a special day for our residents! We can’t wait to have you back! 🥰🎹👏

🎈🏐 Balloon Volleyball Fun! 🏐🎈

Who says exercise can’t be FUN?! Our residents enjoyed a lively game of balloon volleyball using pool noodles! 😄💪

This activity was a great way to get moving while enjoying plenty of smiles, laughter, and friendly competition. Balloon volleyball helps encourage hand-eye coordination, upper-body movement, balance, range of motion, and gentle physical activity—all while keeping everyone engaged and having a great time! 🌟

Our residents cheered each other on, stayed active, and showed that fitness comes in all kinds of fun forms. 🎈❤️

Move, laugh, connect, and have fun—that’s what it’s all about! 🙌😊

Staff, we are excited for a fun-filled week of memories, music, activities, and celebrations! We want you to participate and enjoy the week together.
Please help us remind and encourage residents to dress according to each day’s theme and participate in activities. Your encouragement makes a BIG difference! 💛
📅 Sunday, September 13 – Grandparents Day
• 11:30 AM: Family & Friends Lunch — Meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetable, rolls, and 2 desserts
• 1:30 PM: Make a Grandparents Day Wind Chime
• 2:30 PM: Family Movie — Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with popcorn & candy🍿
📅 Monday, September 14 – 1920s
• 2:00 PM: 1920s Murder Mystery Game 🕵️
• 1920s dress-up props will be available for residents who would like to participate.
📅 Tuesday, September 15 – 1950s
• 2:30 PM: 1950s Ice Cream Social with Empower Me 🍦
• Encourage residents to dress in their 1950s-inspired outfits!
📅 Wednesday, September 16 – 1960s
• 2:30 PM: 1960s Tie-Dye Fun! 🌈
• Items will be available to help residents dress for the theme.
• Please stop by the Activity Room for shirt sizing before September 10.
📅 Thursday, September 17 – 1970s
• 2:30 PM: 1970s Disco Party with fun appetizers 🕺
• 3:00 PM: Paint a Rock 🎨
📅 Friday, September 18 – 1980s
• 2:30 PM: 1980s Glo Bingo Party in the Activity Room! ✨

🍪❤️ Baking, teamwork, and lots of smiles! ❤️🍪

Our residents had a wonderful time baking together! Everyone took turns mixing, measuring, and helping with each step of the process. Our staff stepped in to lend a helping hand when needed, making sure everyone could be involved and enjoy the experience.

The best part was seeing our finished product—and, of course, enjoying the delicious results! 🧁😊 It was a wonderful way to spend time together, share some laughs, and create sweet memories.

Nothing tastes better than something made with teamwork and a little love! 💕👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

There’s just something special about front porch sitting. ❤️

A little fresh air, a comfortable chair, good conversation, and time spent visiting with fellow residents can turn an ordinary day into a memorable one. Sometimes it’s not about doing anything big—it’s simply about being together, sharing stories, laughing a little, and enjoying each other’s company.

That’s what community is all about. 🏡💛

A HUGE thank-you to Kim and Bruce Padan for hosting such a fun Cubs vs. Cardinals baseball party! ⚾️💙❤️

You two really knocked it out of the ballpark! From the trivia and awesome prizes to the games between innings, there was never a dull moment. And of course, what’s a baseball party without the perfect ballpark spread? 🌭🧀🥜 We enjoyed hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, whole peanuts 😂, plenty of beverages, and some cold beer to keep everyone properly hydrated!

It was the perfect combination of baseball, food, laughs, friendly competition, and great friends. Thanks again, Kim and Bruce, for making it such a memorable game!

Now if only every baseball game came with snacks, prizes, and this much fun! ⚾️🍻🎉
