Today residents and staff celebrated Lauren Duncan’s achievement of graduating from nursing school. Lauren has been working at Vintage Knolls while she was attending school. We are all so proud of her for accomplishing her goal of becoming a nurse. Way to go Lauren!!!

Friday was Cherry Turnover Day. Roxy and Betty worked together and put together some awesome mini turnovers. In the afternoon they were enjoyed with ice cream. If you were keeping track that was the fourth time this week that they enjoyed ice cream in the activity room. On peach pie, in banana splits, on banana bread, and with cherry turnovers. I still haven’t had a complaint of too much ice cream! They love their ice cream.

Thursday was Banana Bread Day, so the ladies made a loaf of Banana Bread and a loaf of Banana Nut Bread. In the afternoon they all enjoyed it with ice cream on top.
