When God calls us to serve, He doesn’t necessarily call all of us
to be leaders. But whether we are serving or leading, we are called
to remain humble. We should never let the authority given to us go to our heads, make us proud, or cause us to treat others in a demeaning way. Instead, we should show His love in all we do.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” — Mark 10:45
Lord, help us serve with humility, love, and a heart that reflects You. 🙏 If our heart posture isn’t right, even serving can become haughty. Especially as Christians, we should keep ourselves in line so that no matter what others do, say, or think, we conduct ourselves in a holy posture with no retaliation.
We are called to walk in humility, love, and grace—remembering to do unto others as we would have them do unto us.
“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” — Luke 6:31
Lord, help my heart stay aligned with You so that my actions always reflect Christ. 🙏 Especially when provoked. Do Not let me “put them in their place” instead let me communicate with christian love or walk away in grace ❤️🔥
