🌸💐 Spreading kindness across generations! 💐🌸

Carolyn, Shirley, Tommie, and Jackie put their creativity to work arranging beautiful flower bouquets for a local preschool graduation. These students have brightened our residents' days many times by making handprint crafts and special gifts, so we were delighted to return the favor and help make their graduation celebration extra special. We are excited to celebrate a special milestone at Gardens of Wetumpka and would love to invite local businesses and organizations in the Baldwin County area to be part of the fun!

We are currently seeking participants who would like to set up a 10x10 booth during our celebration on:

📅 July 3rd
🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We are looking for vendors who are willing to:
✨ Set up a small booth
🎯 Host a simple game or activity
🎁 Provide a small prize or giveaway
💙 Donate their time to help make this event special for our residents and guests

✈️ Armchair Travel: Australia Adventure at Gardens of Daphne!

This morning, residents at Gardens of Daphne packed their “passports,” grabbed their tickets, and set off on a fun-filled armchair journey all the way to Australia! 🇦🇺

From the comfort of home, everyone explored Aussie culture and enjoyed a taste of Australia with some unique treats—including Vegemite spread, bumbles, and black olive artisan crackers. It was a deliciously different way to travel the world without leaving town!

Laughter, curiosity, and plenty of new experiences made this stop on the travel map one to remember. 🌏✨

🏐🏀 Fun and friendly competition filled the day at Gardens of Daphne! Our residents had a blast showing off their skills during a lively Bucket Ball Competition and an exciting game of Beach Ball Volleyball. There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and cheering as everyone joined in the fun. Activities like these are a great way to stay active, socialize, and create wonderful memories together. Exercise class, compliments of Jessica Woodard-Cordell with Ray's Friends, brought an incredible burst of energy and joy to our residents!

From stretches, weights, and resistance exercises to ball balancing and even a little dancing, everyone stayed engaged, active, and smiling the entire time. Laughter filled the room as residents challenged themselves, encouraged one another, and enjoyed every moment.

We are so excited that Jessica plans to return every week—she is truly amazing, and our residents are already looking forward to the next class!

🎉 Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest resident, Jeanne Osborne! 🎉

Jeanne brings with her a lifetime of wonderful experiences and accomplishments. She worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for many years and is the proud mother of two children and grandmother of four grandchildren.

An animal lover at heart, Jeanne especially enjoys dogs, cats, and birds. In fact, birdwatching is one of her favorite pastimes! She was even nominated as Volunteer of the Year for the River Region, a testament to her caring spirit and dedication to helping others.

When she's not spending time with family and friends, Jeanne enjoys singing, working puzzles, birdwatching, and creating crafts.

We're so happy to have Jeanne as part of our community and look forward to getting to know her better. Be sure to say hello and help us make her feel right at home! ❤️🏡🐦🎶🧩🎨
