Today is World Osteoporosis Day—a reminder of the importance of strong, healthy bones at every stage of life. Osteoporosis is a condition that causes bones to become weak and brittle, often without symptoms until a fracture occurs. Did you know 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men over 50 will experience an osteoporotic fracture? Common sites include the hip, spine, and wrist. At ApexNetwork Physical Therapy, we are here to help you take proactive steps for bone health.
