🤍 Remembering Barbara Foreit 🤍
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a true Grieb’s legend, Barbara Foreit. Barb dedicated 45 years to our pharmacy and truly was the face of Grieb’s.
For generations of neighbors, Barb was a familiar, welcoming presence. We will all fondly remember her quick wit, her wonderful sense of humor, and the immense love she had for her husband, Topper, her four children, and—of course—her beloved NY Mets!
Long before modern computers and printers, Barb was the backbone of our daily operations, sitting on her stool and meticulously typing out every prescription label by hand on an IBM Selectric typewriter.
Barb shaped the heart and soul of Grieb’s Pharmacy, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and community that we will never forget. She will be deeply missed by our staff and the countless patients she served over nearly half a century.
