Gratitude and Relationships

Biology: Gratitude can increase connection and reduce the stress of isolation.

Behavior: It looks like noticing effort, speaking appreciation, and helping others feel seen.

Belief: Gratitude reminds us we are supported more than we realize.



I could not do my life without the support of my dear Husband Terry- He notices my effort, helps all the time and appreciates all I do. that being said- a relationship is to be reciprocal- I am to notice his efforts, be appreciative and help him and others- its call balance: love and respect.

Gratitude and Daily Health Choices

Biology: Gratitude can reduce overwhelm and create more capacity for healthy choices.

Behavior: It looks like nourishing, moving, and resting your body with respect.

Belief: Health becomes easier when you stop seeing your body as a problem and start treating it like a gift.



I made Homemade Rhubarb BBQ sauce- I wanted an alternative to the heavy sugary pies, custards and crisps. this had minimal sugar and wow is it ever tasty!

I am learning my entrepreneur adventure shifts quite a bit.

Allowing for growth and change... one area I struggle with is getting everything just perfect... it sets me back because I do not enjoy the journey, the sh*ts, the growth.

My focus is misplaced.

I see this in my health journey as well!
I'm too focused on getting everything perfect before I begin ... what happens?

I never begin!

There has been a major change for me ... now I'm always asking myself what is the next step to take.... then take it!!!

Life isn't perfect , it's messy. that's ok!

Gratitude and Stress Recovery

Biology: Gratitude helps interrupt the brain’s focus on what is wrong and supports emotional resilience.

Behavior: It becomes powerful when practiced daily, not just spoken occasionally.

Belief: What we repeatedly notice shapes how we live.
Gratitude asks, “What is sustaining me right now?”



My cousin's dog Audi- like any other dog, he has the ability to rest and reset.
Even now, as I type, my dog Jilly is at my feet curled up and resting- even snoring a bit- I read this morning Shalom Rav- abundant peace- I'm carrying that statement with me today.
