What makes a place truly feel like home? 🏡

Cedar Dell was transformed into our very own Tropical Paradise, and what an incredible turnout we had! 🌴🌺 Residents, family members, friends, and guests filled our community with smiling faces, laughter, music, and plenty of island spirit!

Guests were greeted by our talented Bistro Babes, who displayed and sold their beautiful handmade jewelry to raise money for Alzheimer’s awareness. We are so proud of these amazing residents for using their creativity to support a cause that means so much to our community. 💜

The wonderful Chris Waters brought the tropics to life with his luau-inspired music, creating the perfect soundtrack for an afternoon in paradise. Guests relaxed, mingled, danced, and enjoyed delicious piña coladas from our Tiki Bar while soaking up the festive atmosphere. 🍹🎶

There’s nothing we love more than seeing our residents surrounded by family, friends, and new faces while making wonderful memories together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Cedar Dell’s Tropical Paradise such a success!

For one afternoon, we didn’t need a plane ticket to escape to the islands — paradise was right here at Cedar Dell! 🌴☀️

Fresh ingredients are part of the dining experience at LCB. 🥖🍓🥒

Our chefs regularly look for fresh, high-quality ingredients and source locally when possible, whether that means visiting a farmers market, selecting seasonal produce or finding the right ingredients for an upcoming meal.

In this behind-the-scenes look, our culinary team visits a local farmers market to handpick ingredients for that evening’s dinner.

It’s just one example of how fresh ingredients make their way from the market to residents’ tables.

We recently had the honor of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone at Cedar Dell. Sister Barbara marked 75 years of devoted service with the Holy Union Sisters.

With the help of the five Sisters who call Cedar Dell home, we gathered for a ceremony filled with stories, memories and a lot of emotion as we celebrated Sister Barbara’s life of faith and service.

Sister Barbara continues to share so much with our community, including her time and talents through many of our resident engagements. During the celebration, she even picked up her guitar and sang for everyone, making the afternoon even more special.

The room was filled with residents, friends, Sisters and members of our Cedar Dell family who came together to honor her and everything she has given over the past 75 years.

Congratulations, Sister Barbara, on this extraordinary milestone. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our community.

What a fun-filled afternoon we had with Tad from Mr. DJ’s Hollywood Game Show! Our residents took a trip down memory lane as we reminisced about the fabulous 1950s while putting our knowledge to the test.

With buzzers, microphones, plenty of laughs, and some friendly competition, our residents loved stepping into the spotlight as game show contestants! The house was certainly full of intelligence—and everyone had a chance to shine.
Best of all, everyone was a winner, leaving with prizes in hand and smiles on their faces.

A huge THANK YOU to Tad and Mr. DJ’s Hollywood Game Show for bringing such an entertaining and memorable afternoon to Cedar Dell. We can't wait to play again!

Help us fill the Cedar Dell van! 🎒✏️

As part of our Community Service Planning, residents chose to organize a backpack and school supply drive benefiting a local Dartmouth public school.

We’re collecting needed supplies through August 31, with donations to be delivered at the beginning of the school year.

Thank you to everyone helping our residents support students in our local community!

Our full community participated in an Open Campus event celebrating National Water Balloon Day with a hilarious game of Water Balloon Pants Toss! 💦🎈

Our Executive Director, Nicole, and Engagement Director, Ellie, were brave enough to put on the oversized pants while residents tried to toss as many water balloons as possible into them. The laughter was nonstop as balloons flew in every direction, and a few associates even joined in on the fun!

It was a perfect summer day filled with friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and unforgettable memories together.
