🌟 Resident Spotlight Alert! 🌟

We’re proud to highlight Carly Jones, PT, DPT, OCS, a 2016 Orthopaedic Resident who completed her program at Edward Hospital (now Endeavor Health) in Naperville, Illinois. Carly has since gone on to complete a fellowship at Northwestern University and now teaches as an adjunct faculty member while continuing her clinical work at Endeavor Health.

Her advice to future residents? “Ask a lot of questions and take advantage of the year to learn as much as possible.”

We are seeking licensed physical therapists who would be interested in volunteering to supervise students in our Interprofessional Health Clinic. Our clinic provides student led, no cost rehabilitation service to those unable to receive care in the community. Learn more about the clinic at our website, www.sau.edu/healthclinic. A huge congratulations to Emily Brodbeck, PT, DPT, PCS, who recently passed the PCS Exam and is now a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy! 🎉

From presenting research at the APTA Pediatrics Conference to serving children and families through pediatric physical therapy, Emily continues to exemplify excellence in our profession. We're proud to call her one of our residency graduates!

The store is open as of today and will close on Sunday, June 28th, 2026 at 11:59pm. We have three casual designs and three professional designs with lots of colors and styles of apparel to choose from. For the summer store only shipping is available. Please extend this link to family, members, friends, and anyone else who wants to represent the St. Ambrose Physical Therapy Department!

All proceeds made from the apparel store will be donated to charity at the end of the school year.

Our DPT students had an incredible time stepping into “ninja mode” this week! 🥷💙

At the Autistic & Loved Sensory Gym, they partnered with some amazing young ones for a high-energy Ninja Workshop filled with obstacle courses, movement challenges, and lots of encouragement along the way. From climbing and jumping to cheering on every success, our future PTs focused on building confidence, coordination, and connection in a fun and supportive environment.

Moments like these are what make the journey to becoming a physical therapist so meaningful—meeting kids where they are, celebrating every victory, and making movement something to smile about. 😊
