This test has always been about things other than ability to be a successful human, and has always been garbage. Many of mid 19th century psychology, tests are really, in many cases, a load of crap, reinforcing social themes and relationships to expectations more than anything else. In this world, “research“ is often colloquially referred to as “mesearch“, because we’re always interested in what makes ourselves tick first and that tends to flow into everything else. In that vein, I can comfortably say for myself that if I had spent the last 45 years thinking something other than “I will always be a loser because I can’t resist a marshmallow“ then my life would’ve been radically different. So, for the casual observer of the oft cited research that takes on meaning for no real reason, you can f**k right off. Looking for a unique way for your teen to build confidence, communication skills, friendships, and real-world social connection?

Roll Models Therapeutic D&D is now welcoming new members for our teen cohort (ages 13–16) in Davidson, NC.

Through collaborative storytelling, problem solving, teamwork, and gameplay, teens build real-life social and emotional skills in a supportive, therapist-led environment where they can connect, create, and belong.

No Dungeons & Dragons experience is needed. Beginners are absolutely welcome.

Our groups are led by licensed therapists Joey Schnople and Katie Lear, who specialize in supporting teens with social skills, anxiety, neurodiversity, ADHD, and confidence-building.

Great for teens who:
• Love creativity, fantasy, gaming, or storytelling
• Need support building confidence or social connection
• Learn best through interactive experiences
• Want a place to belong and connect with peers

The next group begins June 24th.
Classes are ongoing and new members are always welcome.

Super excited to announce a new collaboration coming up this fall - we will be piloting an in person therapeutic Role Playing Game group for kids age 10-13.

Six sessions, October/November, once weekly. We will be playing Kids on Bikes, a great game with a Stranger Things vibe.
