Title: Correlation Between Online Allergy Searches and Mental Health Terms: Patient Education Implications

This study explores how people searching for allergy-related information online are also frequently searching for mental health topics — highlighting the significant psychological burden that allergic diseases can have on patients.

Key takeaway: As allergy specialists, we have an opportunity (and responsibility) to provide better patient education that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of allergic conditions.

JAMA: Autonomous clinical AI shouldn't be regulated like a static medical device. It should be licensed like a physician. argue for a full licensure framework: competency exams, supervised practice, ongoing assessment, and accountability — just like human doctors.

This Perspective considers a licensure framework for autonomous clinical artificial intelligence (AI) in light of the clinical care workforce shortage.
