Blue Umbrella Psychiatry

Blue Umbrella Psychiatry Blue Umbrella was formed to offer all mental health services under one roof. https://www.blueumbrellapsychiatry.com All of that is about to change.

If you are like many of our patients, you’ve been frustrated with previous psychiatric treatments and unable to find meaningful or lasting relief from symptoms that make life unpleasant. Dr. Eric Robbins founded Blue Umbrella after years of working in a fragmented and uncompassionate mental healthcare industry. He noted patients aligning with disconnected physicians and therapists leading to poor

communication, mixed messaging and ineffective care. Blue Umbrella was formed to offer all mental health services under one roof with providers collaborating with each other and patients to care for the whole person. We promise to go beyond a diagnosis and work with you, providing you:

- Individual and supportive care you need and deserve
- Innovative services, based entirely on your needs
- Coordinated, evidence-based programs
- The help you need to move toward joy, peace and overall health and wellness

Taking care of your mental health is KINDA CHIC. 💅🏽🧠
With the right place, the right providers, and the right support, prioritizing your mental well-being can feel a whole lot less overwhelming — and a lot more empowering. 🤍
This Wednesday, consider giving yourself permission to check in, slow down, and take care of you. Because your mental health deserves a seat at the table, too. ✨

Your Back-to-School Mental Health Toolkit
| As September arrives and school is in full swing, it's normal to see a rise in anxiety, mood changes, or behavioral challenges — in both students and parents. Having a mental health toolkit ready can make all the difference. At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we help families prepare by establishing consistent routines, maintaining medication schedules, coordinating with school counselors, and providing a reliable resource when challenges arise. Whether your child or teen is navigating social pressures, academic stress, or existing mental health conditions, we're here to support your whole family through the school year ahead.

The right therapeutic relationship can make a meaningful difference in someone's mental health journey.

Today, we're celebrating Luciana Wimbish, LMHC, Therapist and Clinical Educator at Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, and the impact she has on the patients and families she serves.

Feedback like this reminds us why compassionate, patient-centered care matters. We are proud to have clinicians who create a space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.
☂️ We're grateful for the trust our patients place in our team.

MENTAL HEALTH MONDAY 💙☂

Everything you need, all under one roof and one umbrella. ☂️

Your mental health journey may look different from someone else’s, and that’s okay. The right care should be personalized to you.

At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we bring multiple areas of mental health care together, including therapy, medication management, TMS, ketamine treatment, and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.

Because when it comes to your mental health, you deserve more than a one size fits all approach. You deserve a whole team under one umbrella.

A MOMENT OF AWARENESS 💙 | National Grief Awareness Day

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline—and there’s no “right” way to grieve.

Grief can come with the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, a pet, a dream, or a chapter of life that meant something deeply to you.

Some days may feel lighter. Others may feel heavy again. That doesn’t mean you’re going backward. Grief is not linear.

As we recognize National Grief Awareness Day on August 30, we’re reminded to lead with compassion, for ourselves and for those around us who may be carrying a loss we cannot see.

You don’t have to navigate grief alone. 💙☂️

Strength Looks Different Than You Think — Men's Mental Health Matters
| Too many men grow up believing they need to handle everything on their own. That emotional struggles should be kept private. That seeking help is a sign of weakness. But real strength is recognizing when you need support and having the courage to reach for it. At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we provide a confidential, judgment-free space for men to address depression, anxiety, anger, life transitions, and more. Dr. Robbins and our team understand the unique pressures men face — and we're here to help, without stigma or pretense. Taking care of your mind is one of the strongest things you can do.

Mental health treatment is not always about finding a quick fix. Lasting progress often comes from the small, consistent steps we take over time.

Whether it’s attending appointments, staying connected with your provider, following your treatment plan, or practicing healthy coping strategies, consistency can create a strong foundation for long-term mental wellness.

In this week’s blog, we explore why consistency matters in mental health treatment, how staying engaged in care can support progress, and what to do when life makes it difficult to stay on track.

Remember, progress does not have to be perfect. Every step toward caring for your mental health matters. 💙

Wednesday Wellness 💙☂️

Taking care of your mental health doesn’t always mean waiting until something feels unmanageable.

Sometimes, an evaluation is simply an opportunity to pause, understand what’s going on, and talk through what you’ve been experiencing with a professional.

And there isn’t one treatment approach that works for everyone. Depending on the individual, goals, and clinical needs, care may include therapy, medication management, TMS, ketamine-based treatments, or a combination of approaches.

The first step isn’t always knowing what you need. Sometimes, it’s simply being willing to ask.

Your mental health deserves the same attention and care you give the rest of your health. 💙

Can't Sleep? Your Mental Health Could Be the Cause

| Sleep and mental health are deeply connected. Anxiety can keep your mind racing at night. Depression can leave you exhausted but unable to rest. Poor sleep, in turn, makes every mental health challenge harder to manage — creating a cycle that feels impossible to break. At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we address sleep as part of your comprehensive mental health care. Whether through medication adjustments, therapy strategies, or lifestyle recommendations, improving your sleep can dramatically improve your mood, focus, and overall wellbeing. Restful nights lead to brighter days.
