I just posted a new video on something I see constantly in my practice — and it surprises almost every golfer I tell it to.
You’ve heard of the 70/30 rule. 70% of your score comes from inside 100 yards. Most serious golfers know this and practice accordingly.
But here’s what nobody talks about: that same 70% of your round is also where your lead knee takes the most repetitive rotational stress. Not on the tee box. On the chipping green. In the bunker. On the pitch from 80 yards.

AI is remarkable. It’s also confidently wrong more often than anyone wants to admit — and in medicine, that gap matters.
I’m not here to scare you off technology. I use AI tools in my practice and they’re genuinely helpful. But there’s a reason my new patient consultations run a full hour, and it has nothing to do with loving paperwork.
Here’s what gets missed when we over-rely on AI for something as personal as regenerative medicine:
• Two patients, same diagnosis, different answers. What works beautifully for one person’s knee can be the wrong call for the next. That only becomes clear when you actually dig into the history.
• Candidacy isn’t a checkbox. Regenerative treatments work best when your body is in the right condition to respond. An algorithm doesn’t examine you — it just answers you.
• Your MRI and your pain aren’t always the same conversation. Some of the most important clinical decisions happen in the space between what the imaging shows and what you’re actually experiencing. That takes a human in the room.
The patients I see have usually already tried the standard path — the quick visit, the referral, the generic advice. They’re here because they want someone to actually think through their specific situation with them.

One of the biggest evolutions in my career has been moving from simply “managing symptoms” to truly intervening with the goal of healing tissue and restoring function.

The combination of orthobiologics and ultrasound-guided medicine completely transformed the way I practice non-operative sports medicine.

Ultrasound allows me to visualize nerves, tendons, ligaments, and joints in real time instead of relying on anatomy alone. Even more valuable is dynamic ultrasound — the ability to evaluate structures while they move, reproduce symptoms, and identify what is actually causing pain.

Just returned from an incredible few days in Búzios, Brazil 🇧🇷, where I had the honor of speaking at the 21st Jornada de Búzios de Cirurgia Plástica, hosted by the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery – Rio de Janeiro Regional Chapter (SBCP-RJ).
I was personally invited by Dr. Guilherme Miranda de Freitas, President of SBCP-RJ, to contribute to the scientific program as part of the new partnership between SBCP-RJ and AIRMESS — a truly exciting collaboration bringing regenerative medicine to the forefront of plastic and aesthetic surgery internationally.
Being on that stage, representing regenerative medicine alongside brilliant Brazilian surgeons, was both humbling and energizing. The conversations, the science, the colleagues — and yes, the views — were unforgettable. 🌊🌴
