Since 2007 we have been offering an 8 week+ internship where the students will learn the methods we use for our pro athletes and sports teams held at Bommarito Performance

We instruct in the basic application of:
--- anatomy and biomechanics to improve treatment options
--- how to work as part of a medical team
--- body mechanics to last longer as a therapist
--- recovery and CNS manipulation techniques
--- professionalism recommended to work with teams,etc.

At times, we also provide opportunities to work as part of our team upon completion and/or references and other opportunities.

We train the basics of what the student needs between Oct/Dec during three 6+ hr classes and then additional education from Jan-Feb during the hands-on portion working with the athletes. We expect 10 hrs per week or a total of 80 hours of hands on at the end of the program.

The interns will be working with collegiate football players preparing for the 2026 NFL draft.

We did it! Woo hoo! Two years in the making and the chapter and I collaborated on is finally published!‼️
We are soooo excited and thrilled to be a part of such a fantastic book on recovery and exercise.

Room is ready for our 18th Sports Massage Internship program at Bommarito Performance! Classes start tomorrow to prepare our therapists for the 2025 NFL Draft Prep program here at BPS. They are on a mission to learn!
