a common misconception regarding neurofeedback is that your practitioner is in control of "changing your brain". This isn't true. Neurofeedback simply helps and encourages your brain to regulate ITSELF. By using how your brain already works, neurofeedback encourages brain waves to avoid patterns of dysregulation, which occurs due to emotional, physical, or mental traumas.
