Powerful Black minds were in the room at the Kingmaker Institute 👑

The Kingmaker Committee came together to plan the future—building out upcoming Kingmaker Conversations and expanding our scholarship efforts to invest in Black boys as they pursue their dreams.

I'm proud of the creativity, ideas, and willingness to speak up. More importantly, I'm proud of the kings who continue to show up, roll up their sleeves, and commit themselves to building something bigger than themselves.

We're not just creating programs. We're building a pipeline of support, opportunity, and brotherhood for Black boys.

Brick by brick. Brother by brother. King by king. 🖤✊🏾👑

May’s Kingmaker Conversation was special. 👑

We talked about pride — what it protects us from and what it can cost us. We laughed, ate, reflected, and experienced real brotherhood.

This conversation also served as a soft launch of The Kingmaker Institute, our new space designed for the development of Black boys and men.

I’m proud of you kings. Thank you for showing up and helping build something meaningful. This is just the beginning.

👑 Kingmaker Conversations is back with a new conversation series for Black men and boys.

This is a space for us to come together for real brotherhood, honest conversation, laughter, reflection, and good food. A place to take off the mask and build with one another.

We’re also bringing the conversations into a new home — a space built with the vision of creating something intentional for Black men and boys in our community.

You showed up to April’s Kingmaker Conversation and brought life into the room — joy, honesty, laughter, real experiences, and true brotherhood. That matters.

This is what it looks like when we come together! A space to take off the mask, be seen, be heard, and just be.

We’re building something real — and it’s only growing. And yes… the food was great too.

Kingmaker Conversations are back this MARCH!!! 👑

This is a space for Black men and boys to come together — to eat, laugh, talk honestly, and experience real brotherhood. A space where you don’t have to perform. Where you can take off the mask and just be.

Our next conversation, Between the Fro and the Braids, explores how we carry stress and navigate conflict — and what it means to face it together.

Last year, we had many great gatherings, and we are expecting even better connections! Please spread the word and help us increase our reach!
