Introducing our CHA | CHA 2026–2028 Leadership Team!(Minus a few who couldn’t join us!)

These incredible women said YES to serving alongside The Women’s Board of Dayton Children’s Hospital as we work toward an ambitious goal: raising more than $1 million for Dayton Children’s over the next two years.

Each of these women will play an important leadership role across our sponsorship, silent auction, special events, and marketing committees. Their time, talents, creativity, and commitment will be instrumental in helping us make CHA | CHA 2028 an unforgettable event and, most importantly, make a meaningful impact for the kids and families served by Dayton Children’s.

We had the opportunity to come together, connect, and enjoy some time as a team before the excitement and hard work of the next two years officially begins. It quickly became clear that we truly could not have assembled a better group of women to lead the way.

Jessica has given so much of her time and talent to our organization, helping advance our mission and support the patients and families of Dayton Children’s. We are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made and the example she has set for our board.

As she passes the gavel to Halee Mollette, we thank Jessica for all she has done and look forward to supporting Halee in her new role as President.

Today, the Women’s Board gathered for our Annual Luncheon, a meaningful opportunity to celebrate another year of service, friendship, and impact.

As we said goodbye to several cherished board members and welcomed new members into our organization, we reflected on the dedication and generosity that continue to strengthen our mission.

We were also honored to present a check for $1.4 million to support the Child Life Program at . This incredible contribution will help ensure children and families receive the comfort, support, education, and compassionate care they need throughout their hospital journey.

A special congratulations and heartfelt thank you to our outgoing Board President, Jessica Smith McKinley, for her exceptional leadership, vision, and commitment to the Women’s Board. As Jessica officially passed the gavel to incoming Board President Halee Richelle Mollette, we celebrated her remarkable service and the lasting impact she has made on our organization. Jessica was also honored with the prestigious Elsie T. Mead Award, a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding dedication to our mission.

We are excited to welcome Halee into her new role and look forward to the future of the Women’s Board under her leadership.

Even though cha cha is over, we’re still feeling so grateful for the incredible people who helped make it such a special event. A huge thank you to our two co-chairs, Anne and Jenn, for all of their hard work, dedication, and leadership in bringing cha cha to life and helping create an event that brought so many people together.

We also want to recognize our amazing board members for everything they did leading up to and during the event. cha cha would not have been possible without the time, energy, and heart each of you poured into it. Thank you for making this year’s celebration such a memorable success!

These funds will help make a meaningful difference for children and families receiving care when they need it most.
