Thanks Dayton Daily News for your coverage of the VA Deputy Secretary's visit to Dayton VA today for our Electronic Health Record (EHR) go live celebration. We will start using the new software system tomorrow.

The Veterans Affairs medical centers in Dayton, Cincinnati, Fort Thomas, and Chillicothe launched a new Oracle-powered electronic health records system on June 6, aiming to provide a comprehensive digital record of veterans' care and histories across these regions.

The clock keeps ticking and we're one day closer to the new Electronic Health Record (EHR) go live on June 6th. We're excited about what this means for Veterans. That included making it easier to transition from military to VA care. It makes it easier for your care team to access your health information without you having to track it down and the EHR will standardize the way VA health care facilities operate.

A special delivery for Veterans at our hospice unit. The David’s Church quilting ministry dropped off beautiful quilts for them. Over the past six months, volunteers crafted 59 quilts and one afghan blanket for Veterans. It's a tradition they carry out each Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Since 2015, the group has donated 855 quilts, each stitched with care to bring comfort, peace, and lasting memories to Veterans and their families. Thank you all very much!

EHR will standardize the way VA health care facilities operate.
