Congratulations to Tim Schubach on reaching an incredible 300 donations with Versiti!

For years, Tim has faithfully donated platelets in memory of his late father, Ted, and his late best friend, Roger. Every donation is a way to honor their lives while helping patients and families who need blood products every day.

Three hundred donations represent countless hours, unwavering generosity and a commitment to caring for others that inspires us all.

If you have a blood donation appointment during the heatwave, take a few simple steps to help make your donation experience a safe and comfortable one:

💧 Drink plenty of water before and after your appointment.
🍽️ Eat a healthy meal before you donate.
👕 Wear lightweight, comfortable clothing.
❄️ Stay cool and avoid spending too much time in the heat before you arrive.

If the heat makes it unsafe for you to travel or donate, please take care of yourself first. We understand if you need to reschedule your appointment, and we hope you’ll give when the weather cools. Your donation can still make a meaningful difference for patients who depend on blood every day.
