Maybe you or your household are not "natural" type folks. Maybe you enjoy your generic brand name soaps or rubbing down with what the FDA deems "liquid detergent" each day. But the truth is, you're not a lab rat and no one really wants to use harsh, chemical-based products on their skin. We, as humans, or more precisely our skin, craves healthy nourishing ingredients found in nature like the ones
found in our Sudsy Bars. How We Make Sudsy Bear Soap
Big Soap's complicated ingredient labels might as well be written in ancient Algonquin. Our Bars are hand poured and hand cut in small batches using a base of natural oils like Coconut, Olive, Sustainable Palm, Castor, Shea and Mango Butters that are natural, healthy and cleansing, that replenishes rather than drying you out. Some of our bars also contain exfoliants like Volcanic Pumice, sea salt, peppermint and spearmint leaves, Poppy Seeds and oatmeal that offer additional skin benefits. We use the traditional cold-process method for soap making, meaning our soaps are saponified without adding heat and take around 4-6 weeks to cure before the Sudsy Bars are ready for use. Unlike name brand soap, Sudsy Bars are square because like Dave Thomas, we refuse to cut corners. We only use the traditional cold-process for all of our soap to retain the natural glycerin and luscious nutrients in each bar, without the necessity of harsh preservatives. All our handcrafted soaps are made in the good ole USA, so you're not only enhancing your shower experience and being kind to your skin with healthy all natural ingredients and smelling as nature intended, but you're also supporting an all-American, family-run company in small town America. Mother Earth and Sustainability
We are a homegrown company in a tiny farming community in Central Florida. Our family has always relied on Mother Nature to sustain us and our living has been made from the soil for nearly 200 years here in Florida (Eight Generations). As it's always been in farming, we continue to truly value Mother Earth where our ingredients are derived and believe in enjoying and sustaining her for the millions born and unborn. We advocate getting out into the great outdoors; feeling the cold mud beneath your toes, smelling the mountain laurels and pines in the dense forests and swamps at dawn, riding a big wave in the blue waters of the Pacific, hiking the Appalachian Trail in Fall, watching a Bald Eagle swoop down to extract a mullet from the tannic waters of the St. Johns River, or brave a raft through the Sock'Em Dog Rapids on the Chattooga. Our advice is as simple as our ingredients: Go Natural.
