Part Time or Full Time PTA and or Manual/Massage Therapist needed for busy, medically-oriented, and multi-practitioner chiropractic offices located in Advent Health Daytona Beach and Palm Coast. We are looking for a dynamic team player who is reliable, personable, and knowledgeable. Our perfect candidate will be able to communicate well with both the patients and the physicians to facilitate the treatment requested. Therapies to be administered include common manual therapy such as deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial release in addition to emerging and innovative sound wave technologies. Our Chiropractic practice has an immediate opening for a bright, enthusiastic, self-motivated and Ethical Associate Chiropractor. We are looking for a team player who can multi task and thrives in a fast paced environment. Must have a passion for the benefits of evidence-based chiropractic as well as knowledge/appreciation of the medical field. Position requires knowledge and proficiency of soft tissue myofascial technique as well as Gonstead, Diversified, and Drop techniques. Neurology background a bonus.

Responsibilities:

* Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
* Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
* Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
* Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
* Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
* Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
* Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
* Analyze x-rays in order to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
* Patient chiropractic care and education
* Building positive doctor-patient relationships
* Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
