Today is an extra special day as we celebrate both a milestone and a new chapter for Dr. Alyssa Harun!

Six years ago today, Dr. Harun joined the EMPros family, and we’re thrilled to announce her promotion to Assistant Director at AdventHealth DeLand ED, alongside Dr. Jon Risovas and medical director Dr. Will Trinh.
Dr. Harun earned her undergraduate degree from New York University, received her medical degree from LECOM Bradenton, and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Garnet Health Medical Center in Hudson Valley, New York.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Zakir, and their daughter, sewing handmade outfits and stuffed animals, crafting, and making memories with her family.
As she steps into this leadership role, Dr. Harun is excited to continue supporting our team, fostering professional growth, and helping create an environment where we provide the highest quality care to our patients.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Harun on her well-deserved promotion and celebrating six incredible years with EMPros! Here’s to many more milestones ahead! 💙
