Surgical Momentum Holdings, LLC is a integrated healthcare organization focused on Patient-Centered Care Initiatives (“PCCI”), continuous Clinical Quality Improvement ("CQI") as well as clinical study/trial design and implementation across general surgery sub-specialties including hernia disease, bariatric, GI, breast and trauma surgery. Institute for Advanced Clinical Care, a first of its kind academic accountable care organization (“AACO”) providing surgical and other clinical services globally, surgical residency and fellowship programs as well as clinical support for CQI programming.
2. A Clinical Research Organization (“CRO”) providing services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
3. A biomaterials lab (BICAM) currently specializing in ex-planted surgical mesh and leading an international ex-plant registry/exchange.
4. An advanced healthcare-based information technology group that provides advanced research and clinical management platforms including CTMS, EDS and unified communications platforms including integrated telecommunications, clinical practice management, electronic medical/health records, etc., to specialties initially within general surgery. The Company’s long-term vision and mission is work with stakeholders to drive a clinical and economic transformation throughout healthcare by utilizing novel care delivery systems with continual CQI programming, integrated clinical research employing "adaptive" complexity based (non-reductionist) approaches for device as well as process/procedural innovation. Paramount to this the establishment of large clinical data acquisition projects like the current BICAM Ex-plant registry which is accessible by both clinicians and industry. The Company is conducting several clinical studies/trials with CQI program integration as well as the internal development of advanced technology platforms and other services for leading medical device companies in the general surgery space.
