Demonstrating rigorous financial stewardship at Westview Child Care Center, she formulated the comprehensive business plans that drove the center to capacity within its first year of operation. Her leadership in this sector has established her as a key advocate for regional development, represented through her contributions to panels alongside the Northeast Chamber of Commerce, the Northeast Healthcare Alliance, and federal delegation representatives. Her technical competencies are supported by an exemplary academic foundation. Katy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience, magna cm laude, from the University of Connecticut, and earned her Master of Business Administration from Nichols College, where she graduated at the top of her class and achieved advanced certification in Strategic Human Resource Management. Having recently completed her specialized training in Long-Term Care Administration through the University of Connecticut, Katy is now fully licensed as a nursing home administrator, seamlessly pairing her advanced business acumen with deep operational insight. In her expanded capacity as Assistant Administrator, Katy will assume broader regulatory and operational responsibilities across the entire Westview organization. She will continue to oversee the Child Care Center and provide critical oversight to Westview department managers, lead our interdisciplinary teams in quality assurance initiatives, and direct institutional compliance strategies. Katyâs profound commitment to compassionate care is both a personal calling and a reflection of her familyâs generational medical legacy in Northeastern Connecticut. Her unique blend of analytical expertise, peer-reviewed research experience, and proven corporate leadership makes her uniquely qualified to steward our facility's lifelong legacy of care. I extend my highest commendations to Katy on this well-deserved promotion, and I look forward to her continued partnership as we champion the health, wellness, and prosperity of our residents, staff, and community."
