Abby has worked at Parkside since April 2026 as a Caregiver!

✨ Plans After Graduation:
I will be attending Winona State University for Nursing.

🩷Favorite part about working at Parkside:
My favorite part about working for Parkside and within the assisted living community is getting to hear all of the stories from the residents and getting to know all of them! I also love being able to help people and make an impact in their lives!

☀️ What are you looking forward to this summer:
I am looking forward to all of the grad parties, hanging out with friends and family, going swimming, hiking, and going on trips!

💝 A special fact about Abby:
A special fact about me is that I have played softball since I was in T-ball. I also have 2 dogs Bailey and Lucy!

At Parkside we are so proud of Abby for her hard work and motivation! We look forward to watching you grow as a nurse! Thank you for being apart of our team!

💬 Favorite Softball Memory:
“Beating Oregon High School at home my junior year — or the bat flying around the gym during practice while Coach tried throwing a ball at it and ended up falling over.”

🎓 Future Plans After High School:
“I plan to attend University of Wisconsin–Madison to study Nursing and earn a certificate in Spanish.”

❤️ What I’ll Miss Most About DeForest Softball:
“I’m going to miss my teammates and the overall atmosphere of the team. This year in particular has been the most enjoyable because I get to play with my best friends, and I’m so grateful that DeForest Softball has given me best friends for life.”

My plan after graduation is to attend MATC for nursing, and become a labor and delivery nurse!!

What I love most about being a caregiver in assisted living is having the chance to bring joy and comfort to residents every day.

I am looking forward to tanning, golfing, boating, and spending time with my best friends!

💝 A special fact about Aspen:
I have a miniature dachshund named Marley.

At Parkside we are so proud of Aspen for her hard work and dedication! We also look forward to Aspen staying with us this fall while she attends college! Thank you for being apart of our team!
