MCCD residents selected Ms Josephine Moore as July’s employee of the month. Ms Moore has been with MCCD for 30 years, what an accomplishment, she’s an outstanding employee who cares for our residents. Congratulations Ms Josephine for your hard work.

Uncle Sam and Lady liberty came by for a surprise visit with our residents and guest. they brought bubbles to the children who were present
Residence and guest were served watermelon, cookies, and juice during the fireworks displayed.
Residents are still talking today about how much they enjoy the fireworks the food and the fellowship with family and friends.
We appreciate all the contributions that were made toward the fireworks.
Kemper County, you all did an outstanding job to make our fireworks displayed the best and biggest we’ve ever had at MCCD.
We would like to say thank you to the following contributors!
Lee McDonald, Billy Rush, Rose Williams, Minnie Johnson,  SamuelTisdale, Reginald Spencer, Dekalb, Methodist Church, Daniel and Betty Lynn Haggard, Tooney’s tire center, Carr and Robbin Calderon, Richard Ferguson, Margaret Womble and others who wanted to remain unnamed.

Thank you Tooney’s tire center for your donation for our fireworks,  every day I am amazed at the generosity Kemper County has displayed this week and helping make possible, a larger fireworks display, not only for our residents, but for the community. Thank you again for your contribution.
