Exceptional Equestrians was honored to be part of the opening celebration for the Mulva Cultural Center’s new exhibit Cowboys: History & Hollywood. Our therapy horses, Tia and Froya, were special guests for the evening, helping visitors experience the unique connection between humans and horses.

From young children meeting a horse for the very first time to adults stopping for a gentle touch, Tia and Froya drew smiles from everyone in attendance. Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to share the mission of Exceptional Equestrians and highlight the remarkable animals that make our work possible.

A heartfelt thank you to the Mulva Cultural Center for inviting us to participate in this exciting community event. We loved introducing visitors to Tia and Froya and celebrating the enduring spirit of the horse in our culture and history.

This week we're proud to spotlight Exceptional Equestrians, an incredible organization that is changing lives through the power of horses.

Their mission is to provide medically based equine-assisted services that help children, teens, and adults throughout Northeastern Wisconsin build physical, emotional, and cognitive skills. With nearly 500 equine-assisted sessions offered each month, Exceptional Equestrians empowers participants to gain confidence, improve independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Whether it's developing strength and coordination, building self-esteem, or creating meaningful connections, the impact of these programs extends far beyond the arena.

Exceptional Equestrians hosted a groundbreaking ceremony in De Pere to launch an expansion that aims to completely eliminate its 80-person waiting list. The medically-based program simulates the physical mechanics of walking and provides crucial sensory therapy for community members facing physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
