Girl summer, but make it sports 🏐🌊

LAHC recently held their Girls Sports Sampler, and it was everything. The event brought 23 girls who'd been coming all summer, 11 new faces, siblings, and parents, all in one place for one big celebration.

Volleyball showdown, water balloon chaos, way too many snacks, and a full raffle with certificates for every girl who showed up all summer long.

Project Play's Playmaker Funds helped make the whole celebration happen, because "we didn't have separate funding this year" should never mean the send-off isn't special.

A Dearborn nonprofit that has served the community for four and a half decades has opened a major expansion after just nine months of construction. Leaders Helping and Advancing Communities, known as LAHC, cut the ribbon on a new 6,500-square-foot behavioral health and workforce development hub.
