Our Medical City Decatur colleagues celebrated with a little friendly competition and a sweet treat!

The colleague advisory group hosted an M&M's race featuring Tanya Prince representing yellow, Heather Young representing green and Lilly Martinez representing red. Congratulations to Lilly for racing to victory!

Unused or expired medications can be easy to forget, but safely disposing of them can help prevent misuse.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, six Medical City Healthcare hospitals will join the Drug Enforcement Administration - DEA for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, offering free, anonymous medication disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at drive-thru locations across North Texas.

Accepted items include prescription and over-the-counter medications, ointments, lotions, drops, liquid medication in leak-proof containers, v**e cartridges without batteries and pet medication. Needles, syringes, lancets and illegal drugs will not be accepted.
