The DMH Lung Cancer Screening Program performs more than 1,400 lung cancer screenings each year. The screening is quick, painless and requires no prep. Same-day results also help keep anxiety at a minimum for patients.

“Sharon came every single year, so we were able to catch her cancer early,” said Jeri Ann Higgins, supervisor, medical imaging services.

Decatur and our surrounding areas brought real energy to the Mindful Miles Challenge last month logging 31,540.6 combined miles! Leading the entire regional challenge was Christina Landin with 660 miles, followed by Cindy Brinker at 335 and Vivian Goodman at 286. Congrats to everyone who participated, taking steps for better health!
