There’s nothing sweeter than the love shared between grandparents and their families! 🥰 The Carriages of Decatur invites our residents, families, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved ones to join us for a special Grandparents Day Dessert Social & Family Celebration!

Researchers have developed blood tests that can detect Alzheimer's before symptoms appear — but Medicare can't cover these tests until Congress allows it. Tell Congress to support the bipartisan ASAP Act, which clears this roadblock and accelerates access to dementia screening.

What an incredible day filled with sunshine, laughter, music, delicious food, and so much fun! Our annual luau is always one of our favorite events, and this year was truly one to remember. 💕🌺

There are SO many people and local businesses we need to thank for helping make this celebration so special!

We had a colorful and creative day filled with summer gnome painting and crafting our very own Aloha license plates for our residents’ walkers and wheelchairs! 🌴🌺

There’s nothing better than adding a little personality, color, and FUN to the things our residents use every day! 💕 Our residents had a blast getting creative, choosing their colors, and making each one uniquely theirs.

🏐❤️ Ball Toss = Exercise + FUN! ❤️🏐

Our residents LOVE ball toss so much that we’ve officially made it a weekly exercise activity! 🎉

It’s so much fun watching everyone get into the game—and seeing the competitive nature come out in some of our residents! 😉🏆 There’s always plenty of laughter, encouragement, and a little friendly competition!

Ball toss is also a fantastic way to work on reflexes, hand-eye coordination, focus, movement, and reaction time while having a whole lot of fun. 🙌

Who says exercise has to feel like exercise?! 😍

We’ll take fun, laughter, and healthy movement any day of the week! ❤️
