Hospice of the Valley extends heartfelt gratitude to the Decatur Women's Chamber of Commerce for their generous grant in support of Camp Hope, our one-day bereavement camp for children in the community who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Camp Hope, a special program dedicated to providing comfort, connection, and healing for grieving children. The support of community partners like the Decatur Women's Chamber of Commerce makes it possible for Hospice of the Valley, as a nonprofit organization, to continue offering this meaningful experience to local families.

Schools almost out for summer. Time to Register for Year 30 of Camp Hope!

Scheduled for Thursday, June 4th, Camp Hope is a one-day camp held annually for school-aged children (5-12) who are grieving the death of a close loved one. It is designed to help children learn how to recognize and express their grief feelings. Crafts, discussion, and a variety of activities allow children to explore their grief in a safe and supportive environment. It is offered to children in our community as a goodwill service, free of charge to the family. Do you know a child that could benefits from Camp Hope?
