Dr. L is back.
This past weekend she joined chiropractors from across the country at the ICPA Gathering 2026 in Reston, VA, where she was honored as a featured speaker. The conference also marked ICPA's 40th anniversary, and Dr. L got to spend the weekend learning, teaching, and celebrating alongside the community that has shaped so much of her approach to family chiropractic care.

Meet the Team
We've been so excited to share this one with you. Welcome (back) to Dr. Ashari Smith.
Many of you already know her. Dr. Ashari is a Decatur native who has been part of the Lotus of Life family for years, first as a Chiropractic Assistant and front desk support, and now returning to us as a doctor.
She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2026, where she was mentored by Dr. Liliana and completed her preceptorship with Dr. Kate. Her approach is thoughtful and personalized, with a focus on whole body wellness and nervous system function. She's passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, live with intention, and feel their best in everyday life.
Outside of the office, you'll find her with family and friends or staying active around town.
We are so proud to have her on this side of the front desk. Welcome home, Dr. Ashari.
