Simple Meals ๐ฅฃ
As pediatric feeding therapists, we know there are a lot of challenges when feeding a family .... picky eating, timing, planning, and prepping are some of the main ones we hear.
Plus, life gets busier in the summer, the hot weather can make cooking less pleasant, AND your kids ask to eat every 15 minutes, it seems ๐ซ
Have you ever tried buffet-style meals at home?
These are a summer staple for us - breakfast, lunch, or dinner!!!
A few reasons why these work, especially for picky eaters:

๏ธ Kids can choose what they want *Remember to include some of their preferred foods*

๏ธ The deconstructed nature of a meal can be more visually appealing
โ
๏ธ They can help prepare the components, which will make them interact with the foods, which we know will make them more likely to try new foods
