One of the most common challenges in early motherhood is how isolating it can feel.

In our newest Building the Village blog, we’re featuring MESH moms, co-founded by Martina and Juliana. MESH moms was created to help women feel more supported, connected, and understood through pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood.

Their community brings moms together with others who have babies around the same age, making it easier to share experiences, ask questions, and build real relationships with people navigating the same season of life.

We love the way MESH moms is helping families build the kind of support that makes early parenthood feel less lonely and more connected.

One of the things we’ve learned through our Building the Village series is how many different forms postpartum support can take.

For some families, one of the hardest and most emotional parts of early parenthood is feeding.

In our newest feature, we’re introducing Abby B SLP — a Speech Language Pathologist, Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and Infant Feeding Specialist who supports families through breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, tongue ties, NICU transitions, and infant feeding challenges.

What stood out most to us about Abby’s work is the way she approaches feeding through both a clinical and deeply compassionate lens. Her care is centered not only on helping babies feed effectively, but also on helping parents feel supported, informed, and connected to their baby during an incredibly vulnerable season.

As Abby shared in the blog:

“No matter how you feed your baby, this is just the first chapter in a very long story with you nurturing your child.”

We’re grateful to feature Abby as part of the growing village of support for Atlanta families.

One of the most overlooked parts of preparing for parenthood is preparing your relationship.

In our work with new parents, we often hear couples say they didn’t expect how much their relationship would shift after baby arrived. Between sleep deprivation, new responsibilities, and the emotional intensity of caring for a newborn, even strong partnerships can feel stretched.

That’s why we believe relationship support is an important part of postpartum care.

In the final post of our Building the Village series, we’re sharing more about the work we do at Aspen Grove Counseling & Wellness and how therapy, workshops, and retreats can help couples stay connected through the transition into parenthood.

If you’re exploring postpartum support in Atlanta, we invite you to read the full blog and explore the providers featured throughout the series.

Parenthood was never meant to be navigated alone.

Where do you find postpartum support in Atlanta?

Many parents ask this question during pregnancy or in the early months after bringing home a baby. Between physical recovery, emotional changes, sleep deprivation, and relationship shifts, the transition into parenthood can feel overwhelming.

We created a guide to postpartum support in Atlanta to help families find the care and resources they need. The guide brings together trusted providers across the city, including therapists, postpartum doulas, pelvic health specialists, infant development experts, baby sleep coaches, and parenting communities.

If you or someone you love is preparing for parenthood, this guide can help you begin building your village.

Postpartum recovery deserves real support.

In our latest Building the Village blog, we’re featuring Megan Beach-Gomes of Kemper Pelvic Physio, a pelvic health physical therapist serving the Atlanta community.

From pregnancy preparation to postpartum recovery, Megan helps clients navigate pelvic pain, incontinence, surgical healing, and return to movement with confidence. Her whole-body approach goes far beyond “just Kegels” and centers education, empowerment, and evidence-based care.
