If your new to Riverside Family Health page I feel I should introduce myself!

I am Crystal Landrum. I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years experience in primary practice. I own Riverside Family Health LLC. It is my dream, mission, and honor to serve as primary care provider for newborns to 60 years of age!

I started in the medical field at the age of 18 at Suburban Ambulance as an EMT Basic. I started nursing at Decatur General Hospital for 18 years!

In June 2012, I started Riverside Family Health! I have had the honor of serving over 4000 patients during the last 14 years.

It’s important for you to understand that I am a Nurse Practitioner, a Christian, a wife, mother, MawMaw, daughter, sister, Aunt, best friend, mentor, football super fan, Girl Scout Mom, business owner, and boss.

I am not perfect. I am brutally honest. I love to talk! I love to teach. I will take my time with you, I love my patients and I truly want to be part of their extended family!

I care for all my employees, but I am the boss and no one is above the rules!

I am a survivor or morbid obesity with a previous weight max of 320 pounds! I am passionate about fighting childhood obesity, insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, and diabetes at all ages! I know personally what obesity cost me from an early age! I do not want that stigma, depression, self consciousness, and physical stress to be experienced by my patients! I offer metabolic clinic as a pathway to weight loss, weight regulation, and improved physical health!

I can’t promise to know everything, but I can promise to refer out to specialists that will help us find the answers!

I started IV Hydration Clinic as an added treatment for Migraines, Liver Detox, Dehydration treatment, and weight loss.
