Some couples enjoy dinner dates — Raul and Beverly Oyarzun enjoy “PT Dates!” This wonderful couple often attends Physical Therapy together, bringing encouragement, laughter, and positive energy to our clinic every visit!

Raul recently surprised Clinic Director Kari Glover with a hilarious custom T-shirt that perfectly captures his sense of humor. The shirt points out all the places that “ow,” but Raul says that when he comes to therapy at Encore, he feels like he’s in “Shangri-La” — a peaceful paradise!

Raul is working hard in therapy to improve mobility, balance, gait, and back pain so he can maintain as much independence and activity as possible.

Beverly is equally dedicated as she works to manage her own back pain while staying strong enough to care for herself, her home, and her husband.

Their commitment to therapy, support for one another, and uplifting attitudes make them such a special part of our Encore family!
