Two sports. One big goal—becoming a national champion!

We’re excited to recognize Emerald Owens as Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation–William Carey!

Emerald is a sophomore at William Carey University, where she competes in both Track & Field and Volleyball for the Crusaders. With her sights set on winning a national championship in both sports, Emerald has some exciting goals ahead!

Outside of athletics, Emerald enjoys dancing, working out, listening to music from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, and watching Saturday Night Fever.

We’re proud to celebrate Emerald and her dedication to college athletics. Congratulations, Emerald! We wish you continued success in the classroom and in competition. Go Crusaders!

Emerald is the daughter of Jesse Owens and Shalisha Owens.
