Our Grandbaby Project is still going strong! 👶💕

What started as a special initiative has become a lasting source of comfort, connection, and joy for our residents at The Retreat at Decatur. Through nurturing, reminiscing, and sharing sweet moments with their grandbabies, our residents continue to show us that love and the instinct to care for others never fade. 🥹💗

We love seeing the smiles and meaningful moments this program continues to bring to our community!

October calls for pumpkin crafts! 🎃🍂

Amanda with Family Hospice made our day by bringing the sweetest pumpkin door hanger craft for our Memory Care residents to create! We spent the afternoon getting creative, enjoying time together, and adding a little fall flair to our community. 🧡

Now our doors are looking extra cute and ready for October! 🎃✨

That’s a wrap on Healthcare Food Service Week! 👩‍🍳💙🍽️

We spent the week celebrating our AMAZING culinary team and all the hard work, love, and dedication they put into serving our residents each and every day! From preparing delicious meals to making sure everyone feels cared for, this team does so much more than just cook!

We are so grateful for each and every one of you and hope you felt extra loved and appreciated this week! Thank you for everything you do to make The Retreat at Decatur feel like home! 💛👏

Little voices, big smiles, and some of our favorite visitors! 🎶💙

Our Canoe Kids joined our residents for another Generations Music Class with Music Together Decatur! From singing and instruments to dancing and lots of smiles, we love watching music bring generations together. 🥁🎵

A staff meeting with a little something extra! 💙✨

This month, our team earned a well-deserved treat for reaching 100% Relias training completion — açaí bowls for everyone! 🥣👏 And of course, we couldn’t leave out our birthday girl, Ms. Rainey, who joined in with a bowl of her own! 🎂💕

We also had the opportunity to celebrate Jackie, our Associate of the Month! 🌟 Thank you, Jackie, for everything you do for our residents and our community each day.

Our Pumpkin Pantry Drive is officially underway at The Retreat at Decatur! 🧡 Throughout October, we’re collecting nonperishable food items to help stock our community pantry and give back to those in need.

This September, Phoenix Senior Living communities are coming together for a special PSL Pays It Forward project in partnership with Atlanta Mission—and we’re inviting our families, friends, associates and community partners to join us!

Throughout the month, we’re hosting a Refurnish Project Drive benefiting My Sister’s House, Atlanta Mission’s shelter serving women and children as they work toward stability, independence and a fresh start.

Using the QR code on the attached flyer, you can purchase items from our curated wish list to help us refresh and renovate living spaces at My Sister’s House.

Even better? Every item purchased will be shipped directly to Atlanta Mission, and in October, members of the PSL Home Office team will roll up their sleeves and personally help install the items and transform these spaces.

At Phoenix Senior Living, we believe a safe, welcoming space can be an important part of beginning again—and together, we have an opportunity to create just that.

We’re throwing it back to a few of our favorite October memories from last year while getting ready for another month full of fall fun! 🎃❤️

This October, we’re especially excited to get our families, friends, and Decatur community involved!

🌶️ Fall Chili Cook-Off — Think you make the best chili around? We want you in the competition! Bring your best recipe and come ready for a little friendly competition.

🍬 Trick-or-Treating at The Retreat — We’re inviting our community to come trick-or-treat door-to-door with our residents! Costumes are encouraged, and our residents cannot wait to see all of our little trick-or-treaters!

🥫 Pantry Drive — We’ll also be collecting pantry donations throughout the month to give back to our local community. Every donation, big or small, helps!

A little less conversation, a little more celebration! 🕺✨
We were All Shook Up for our 70s celebration with a very special visit from The King! 🎤👑 Our residents had the best time singing, dancing, and taking a trip down memory lane with some of Elvis’ greatest hits. Thank you to everyone who helped make this groovy afternoon one to remember! 💛
