✨ New on the blog! ✨

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, “What am I doing with my life?”

Whether you’re a high school student trying to decide what’s next, a college student questioning your major, or an adult wondering if you’re in the right career, you’re not alone. Feeling uncertain about your future can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to feel like everyone else has it all figured out.

In our newest blog, Leah talks about the uncertainty that often comes with life’s big decisions and reminds us that it’s okay not to have all the answers right away.

If you’re feeling stuck or unsure about your next step, we also offer a five-week career counseling program designed to help you gain clarity, explore your strengths, and create a path forward.

When Your Adult Child Comes Home for the Summer…

You spend months adjusting to a quieter house, a different routine, and having your own space again. Then summer arrives, and suddenly your college student or adult child is back home.

They’re an adult now, but it’s still your home. At the same time, they’re no longer the teenager who left. That change can take some adjusting for everyone.

Conversations about chores, overnight guests, shared spaces, finances, curfews, and household expectations can quickly become frustrating if everyone is working from different assumptions.

One of the healthiest things families can do is talk about expectations early. Have those conversations before resentment starts to build. Listen to each other’s perspectives and remember that respect goes both ways.

Parents deserve to feel comfortable in their own home. Adult children deserve to be treated like adults. Finding the balance starts with honest communication.

Every family is different, and there isn’t one right way to handle this season. What matters most is creating a home where everyone feels heard, respected, and valued.

Have you or your family experienced this transition? We’d love to hear what helped.

✨ New on the blog! ✨

Have you ever found yourself putting something off because it felt overwhelming? Or talked yourself out of trying something because you were afraid of failing?

Our newest blog, ”Hello-and Hello Fear,” talks about exactly that.

This month’s post explores how fear of judgment and avoidance can quietly grow into anxiety and how taking one small step forward can help you break that cycle.

If this sounds familiar, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to read it. You might see yourself in the story.

As parents, we often expect emotional struggles to look obvious. But many children and teens show signs of stress, anxiety, sadness, or overwhelm in ways that can be easy to miss.

Changes in behavior, mood, sleep, social interactions, or physical complaints can sometimes be a child’s way of communicating that they need additional support.

This does not mean something is “wrong” with your child. It simply means they may be navigating challenges and could benefit from having a safe, supportive space to process their thoughts and feelings.

Summer can be an especially great time to start counseling, as children and teens often have fewer academic demands and more flexibility in their schedules.

If you’ve been wondering whether counseling might be helpful for your child, we’re here to answer your questions and help you explore your options. 💙

Many people seek counseling to manage stress, improve relationships, navigate life transitions, build coping skills, increase self-awareness, or simply have a supportive space to talk.

You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to reach out for support.

Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. 💛

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. 💙

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or life circumstances. Yet many men feel pressure to stay silent, push through, or handle things on their own.

Seeking support is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of courage.

This month, we encourage men to prioritize their mental well-being, check in with themselves, and reach out for support when needed.

Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, or major life changes, you do not have to face it alone.

Let’s continue breaking the stigma and creating space for honest conversations about mental health.

A gentle reminder today 🤍

You do not have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.

Growth can look like:
• asking for help
• taking small steps
• setting boundaries
• resting when needed
• trying again

Give yourself grace through the process. Healing and growth are not always linear, and small progress is still progress. 🌿
